How To: fiesta centerpiece

These centerpieces are perfect for any party where smaller centerpieces are needed, ie: 2 per 10 foot table. I just happened to need something for a Mexican Fiesta themed banquet that I am designing. So the supplies I chose reflect that theme. They are super easy to make and inexpensive too!
These supplies will make 12 centerpieces.
You will need:
12 pack of 16oz. Mason Jars
2 yards of burlap or other fabric of your choice.
12 feet of ribbon of choice.
measuring tape or ruler
scissors
hot glue gun
and flowers to fill "vase".
Okay, let's get started. First you will want to cut a piece of fabric in a 4" x 11" strip.
Next, cut a 1 foot piece of ribbon (you could also use raffia, roping, etc.
Heat up your glue gun and place on a paper plate.
Lay your Mason Jar on the fabric and wrap fabric around jar until it meets. Glue a line, or several to adhere fabric to the jar. Adhere fabric to overlap for a clean finish.
Next, find the center or wherever you want to place the ribbon. Lay the jar down and glue the ribbon perfectly straight. You may also just tie the ribbon around the jar if the ribbon is strong enough. (mine wasn't)
That is IT! Just add your flowers and viola! I love that it is so easy and inexpensive, and you can actually reuse the jars for anything else you need them for. Also, I like the fact that you can customized them to whatever theme or party you want!
The Mexican flowers I used here were also very inexpensive and fun to make. I will add a tutorial soon, or you here is another one that I found online: Easy Tissue Paper Flowers
TIP:
wrap pipe cleaners of the 3 flowers together towards the top, so they sit nice and even in the jar.
