Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day all take place in the summer. With Memorial Day and Labor Day being bookend holidays, marking the beginning and end of the summer in the United States.
So many a patriotic party is hosted outdoors and with a BBQ. Here are some other fun ideas for hosting a patriotic party:
Use fresh flowers in vintage mason jars for tabletops.
Hang fabric red, white, and blue buntings on your front porch...
Put small flags in all of your flower pots...
Of course, decorate in red, white, and blue! Use stars and striped fabric for photo backdrops and tablecovers...
Serve a simple flag fruit cake...
Fill a large galvanized steel tub with ice and old fashioned glass bottles of Coca Cola and red pop...
